  • Full-time, Permanent, based in Prospect
  • Monday to Friday - flexible start/finish times
  • Overseeing the early learning and childcare services at our unique centre that provides a specialised education environment with leading edge therapeutic supports and childcare services
Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a professional Early Learning Director with proven experience in leading a diverse team, who has a genuine passion for working with young children aged up to 6 years of all abilities. You will be responsible for overall operations ensuring high quality early learning and childcare services to all children and families, sound leadership of staff and management of rosters and budgets. Within our leafy centre, located in Prospect, you will collaborate with our experienced team to deliver inclusive education programs to young children with and without disabilities.

What can you expect to be doing?
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre including regulatory compliance issues, customer engagement and service quality
  • Ensuring regular communications to and from customers so all stakeholders are connected and informed
  • Effectively lead a team of early learning teachers, educators and assistants through process via supervision, performance, development, etc.
  • Develop, consult with and maintain strong professional relationships across the organisation and other stakeholders in the sector to inform service awareness, delivery and design.
  • Ensure quality delivery of early learning services to meet regulations and the needs of children and their families.
What do you need to bring?
  • Bachelor level qualifications in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) as approved by Australian Children's Education and Care Authority - ACECQA
  • Previous site management experience in an early learning environment
  • Sound understanding of child development, inclusion, the Early Years Learning Framework and Education and Care services national regulation and law.
  • A strong problem solving capability with experience in managing performance and customer satisfaction
