About the opportunity
As a vital member of the international commercial team, this role is accountable for supporting the outbound Commercial network of the international volume departing Australia into multiple offshore destinations. This role sits at the forefront of the international experience but also involves supporting commercial, operational, warehousing, sales and services on day to day processes. This role requires interaction with both internal stakeholders including the broader international commercial team and external parties relevant to the international e-Commerce supply chain.
What you'll deliver with us
- Support implementation of effective and productive systems for documenting goods dispatched in line with business and commercial requirements.
- Identify and respond to issues that may cause customer commitments to not be met and investigates alternative means of transport and resolution
- Assist with the on-boarding of new customers, systems and processes
- Prepare, Process, Monitor Outbound international eCommerce Consolidations
- Track delivery performance to identify improvement areas and ensure service delivery standards are met
You'll be a highly organised individual who has seamless attention to detail and strong communication skills. You'll enjoy working autonomously in a small close knit team.
You'll also have
- Minimum 5 years' experience in export logistics/freight forwarding industry
- Sound knowledge in International and Domestic Logistics environment
- Experience with international Supply Chain systems, Expedient, preferred
- Strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills
- An organized and systematic approach to work
