About the role
The Marketing team at Village Cinemas are searching for an eCommerce Specialist to join the team to lead revenue growth and customer engagement across all digital sales channels. In this exciting role, you will drive optimisation through analytics and insights, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to implement best practices, all while innovating strategies to enhance the customer experience and maximise revenue. This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about data-driven optimisation and who can thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive online revenue growth through optimisation of all digital channels including websites, apps, online gift shop, social media and eDMs
- Manage initiatives aimed at increasing traffic, driving customer engagement and conversion
- Work with digital agency stakeholders to better engage the customer, in line with the Village Cinemas digital vision
- Support continued development of the ticketing website, providing insights and recommendations to ensure a customer-first experience
- With agency support, develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic & improve search engine rankings
- Analyse website customer journey using GA4 and HotJar to improve UI/UX to enhance sales
- Support internal Digital Experience Team channel development through performance reporting and analytics, being aware of technological advancements
- Develop and execute annual digital marketing strategy, providing regular reporting and updates to the business
About you
We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for driving revenue growth and customer engagement. You will have the ability to excel in an autonomous work environment, while prioritising workflows to meet business demands. As the digital platform subject matter expert, you will spend time collaborating with and supporting the wider Village Cinemas team in navigating digital landscapes, so we are seeking someone with outstanding communication skills and experience.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification within Marketing, Ecommerce or relevant discipline would be beneficial
- Previous experience with Google Analytics 4, SEO, SEM
- Operating Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop & InDesign
- Strong stakeholder and customer engagement abilities
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of operating content management systems for websites and email marketing platforms
- Previous experience with Sitecore, HotJar and Contentful is highly regarded
