Working in the Strategy, Partnerships and Engagement Division, this position is responsible for leading Council's economic development and visitor services, designing and delivering projects and initiatives to support regional growth. The position will act as a key referral point for major investment leads and oversees the effective provision of economic development services and operation of two Visitor Information Centres.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

• Operate strategically to maximise regional development opportunities and ensure shared community and industry benefit;
• Develop your leadership experience leading multi-funcitional teams and creating regional impact; and
• Create positive relationships with internal, government agencies and industrial stakeholders to achieve identified, measurable outcomes.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business, Commerce, Marketing or related field;
• Experience in leading teams and inspiring staff to deliver an effective and response service in a busy or complex environment; and
• Demonstrated drive and commitment to identify and facilitate investment and business or workforce development opportunities.

With capacity to recognise and respond to opportunities and challenges, you are passionate about creating effective partnerships to deliver community and industry benefit. Salary: Total remuneration package $102,022 - $118,567 per annum plus superannuation.
