ECT (Pod Early School, Newmarket)

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Newmarket. 

The role is working 38 hours per week, with flexibility of set shift times that can be negotiated.  Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and flexible routines. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.  Our ECT will be responsible for providing a comprehensive transition to school program, and will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.

SELECTION CRITERIA 

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
• Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications 
• Current Blue Card
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong understanding of the QKLG, EYLF and NQF
