Eds Validation Specialist

They have developed a wide range of innovative products that meet and exceed the expectations of global automobile manufacturers with an aim to make a better society through technology and high-quality products.Due to continued growth and demand, we are currently seeking an experienced and energised EDS Validation Specialist to join the team in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.This position will play an active role in providing EDS Validation support to the client's engineering team, in particular emphasis assigned to customer design base support.Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute validation plans and protocols for wiring harness systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define validation requirements, including mechanical, electrical, and software aspects, for wiring harness systems.-Conduct validation tests and inspections on wiring harness prototypes and production units, using appropriate tools and equipment.-Analyze test data and results to identify and resolve issues related to wiring harness performance, functionality, and durability.-Generate detailed reports documenting validation test results, findings, and recommendations for improvements.-Work closely with design engineers to review wiring harness designs and provide input for validation feasibility and optimization.-Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the validation process.-Support the development of new wiring harness products by providing validation expertise and guidance.-Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve validation-related issues and drive continuous improvement.-Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to wiring harness validation and apply them to improve validation processes.Requirements
-Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive wiring harness systems-Skill in analyzing test data and results relating to wiring harness-Strong communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of engineers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.-CAD design tool experience-Strong understanding of Development System eg GPDS.If you believe you are the right candidate for this role, please click "apply"
