Job description
An exciting opportunity exists for an Education Support Officer to join our Responsible Thinking Classroom (RTC). Some experience in child protection would be preferred, however this is not essential as training will occur on the job. This position has a strong student wellbeing focus and requires a patient and compassionate attitude working with vulnerable students from P-12 and their parents. The successful applicant will also collect, record, analyse and report on behaviour data and work closely with the RTC Coordinator.
This is a permanent position on a part-time basis during term time (i.e. 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year). Preferably the hours will be spread over 5 days per week at 6 hours per day between 8:25am and 2:55pm, however some flexibility is available. The successful applicant will commence as soon as possible and applications will remain open only until the right candidate is found so please apply asap.
