Educational Data Analyst

FULL-TIME | SALARY $125,407 P.A. PLUS SUPER 3 YEAR CONTRACT | COMMENCING –23 JANUARY 2023

An exciting opportunity exists for an Educational Data Analyst (EDA) providing leadership and regional and remote support for schools in the Northern Territory. The EDA will work collaboratively with school and office staff in the provision of high-level analysis, reporting and advice on all relevant data to maximise educational experiences and outcomes for all students. The role includes leadership of the system Data Literacy project, building capacity at a system and whole school level and embedding data literacy, visualisation and storytelling to support high quality, evidence informed practice.

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in data analysis or other relevant field * Demonstrated capacity to select and support appropriate school improvement processes based on data analysis
• Experience in evidence informed classroom practice
• Excellent knowledge of and experience in analysis of key national and NT education assessment tools
• Excellent knowledge of current curriculum, theory and practice
• Demonstrated awareness of the social, economic and cultural diversity within the NT
• Successful classroom teaching experience
• Experience in working effectively and collaboratively with leadership and staff in schools in the preparation and delivery of professional learning
• Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education in the Northern Territory * Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within teams
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning
• Capacity for leading a team of professional educators and specialists
• Willingness to travel and stay in remote locations as required to fulfill position obligations.
