Bright Bees Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor to join our Early Learning Centre team. Our ultimate goal is to support each child's growth into their authentic selves and help them uncover their boundless potential. Bright Bees Early Learning is licensed for 130 places and has 9 rooms, Babies, Toddlers, and Preschool. The service is supported by a strong management and leadership team consisting of the Centre Directors, and dedicated team of qualified educators.
The Role:
This is a non-contact role, which means the position does not involve direct on floor shift work. It focuses on providing leadership, support, and guidance to educators and overseeing the educational program and compliance aspects of the centre.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Centre Directors and Educators to develop and implement a high-quality educational program for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
- Lead and support the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Provide guidance and mentoring to educators, assisting them in creating engaging learning experiences that promote children's development and wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Collaborate with families and build strong partnerships to support children's individual needs and learning goals.
- Conduct regular observations, assessments, and evaluations of children's learning progress and provide feedback to educators and families.
- Support and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters children's curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your own skills and knowledge as an educational leader.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or working towards Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Valid working with vulnerable people check
- Experience working in a leadership role within an early learning centre or similar educational setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development theories, pedagogy, and best practices.
- Strong understanding with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
