The Role
Maritime Cross Platform Systems Program Office (MCPSPO) is seeking an EL1 Logistics Manager with sound business acumen to provide effective and efficient management of Naval Cross Platform systems. The position is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex to very complex materiel logistics work within an integrated workforce. The position includes management responsibilities and as such you will be required to exercise your people management skills and knowledge to lead a high performing and cohesive team.
You will be responsible for the whole of life management of assets, from initial procurement to providing In Service Support such as storage, inventory management, maintenance and disposals. At the Executive level you will work closely with senior management and contribute to the development of strategies to continuously improve MCPSPO’s support of Navy Capability.

The MCPSPO within Maritime Systems Division, is the lead agency for delivery of Cross-Class sustainment services and advice across the maritime environment. MCPSPO sustains and manages a range of complex military systems and supplies, through an extensive network of industry partners, domestic and off-shore.
Our operating environment is complex and challenging, and requires exceptional integrated logistics, contract and relationship management skills. MCPSPO is comprised of three functions, including Commercial, Sustainment and Engineering cells. The teams work in a complex, fast paced environment as part of a diverse and inclusive Branch environment that encompasses a variety of knowledge, skills and experience within a supportive hierarchy.
