Capital Recruit are currently working with this small government agency who are looking for an EL1 Executive Officer to be engaged on an initial 12 month Non-Ongoing basis. This will see you working in a dynamic and challenging executive environment, working closely with the General Manager to provide high level support.
Duties
As the Executive Officer, your duties will include:
- Draft and co-ordinate contributions to divisional business plans and annual reporting
- Coordinate and contribute content for internal executive meetings
- Coordinate various senior management committees and meetings including preparation of high quality agendas, minute-taking, distribution of materials and timely follow up action
- Coordinate general queries regarding the Division
- Apply and maintain appropriate systems and processes to ensure high quality executive support is provided to the General Manager and the internal and external stakeholders who interact with the office
- Respond in a proactive and flexible way to issues and offer lateral solutions in a busy and complex environment
- Previous experience as an Executive Officer from APS or private sectors
- Ability to obtain a baseline clearance
- Proven experience working to deadlines and competing priorities
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
