Form of work VK Logic are currently seeking an Electrical Draftsperson/Designer. This role will support the design and layout of electrical installations and automated plant and equipment, prepare electrical drawings, plans and diagrams. A trainee would be considered for the position. We will offer the right candidate:

Responsibilities and duties include:
Design 2D electrical drawings for automated plant and equipment.
Produce ‘as built’ drawings from provided mark-ups of equipment installations and field wiring.
Site verification of drawings as required.
Utilising safe for work processes and encouraging safety improvements.
To be successful for the position you have the following skills and attributes:
Electrical experience in automated industry: Licenced Electrical Trade, Associate Degree (Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or 5 years relevant industry experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong teamwork skills with an ability to work successfully with the electrical and automation teams.
Flexible attitude and sound work ethic
Ability to achieve results and work within specific time frames.
High attention to detail with an ability to work autonomously.
A strong commitment to WHS
A current Australian Driver Licence
Compliance to Covid health requirements, including vaccination and testing as deemed necessary.
The following skills are preferable but not required for a trainee position:
Experience as an Electrical Draftsperson or Designer
Proficient with 2D drawing/drafting.
Experience in producing detailed drawings by interpreting design requirements from scope of work or functional descriptions, particularly for heavy industry within process plant.
AutoCAD experience with ability to utilise common Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
Demonstrated understanding of factory automation systems including PLC’s, VSD’s, Machine Safety, SCADA, HMI’s and networking
