NEPEAN Power specialises in design and manufacture high quality electrical equipment. Our products can be found throughout the Australian and international energy, renewable, construction, industrial and primary sectors. Our Opportunity

As an Electrical Engineer based in our Thornton NSW Office, you’ll work on projects that shape the future of industry. your knowledge and industry expertise will reinforce our engineering capability and ensure that NEPEAN Power continues to be a market leader in the energy sector.

Your Role

This is a rewarding role, where you will provide technical advice to the sales and Products Team to support tenders, proposals, and quotes. You will support the Products Team by providing guidance and technical assistance in a wide range of electrical products from transformers to switchgear and MCCs.

You will oversee technical reviews on product design, working with both external stakeholders and internal workshop personnel, providing both advice and rectifying technical issues and advising on any queries with engineering designs.

The Right Person

  • You are currently in an Electrical Engineering role, and you are ready to join a team of industry leading experts.
  • You have experience or sound knowledge of switchgear or MCCs
  • You understand electrical scope of work/s and can review SLD and schematics.
  • You have a ‘can do’ attitude and strong technical knowledge, you use critical thinking to solve problems.
  • Experience in AutoCad desirable but not essential.
  • You hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree), and 3 years minimum experience in an electrical capacity.
