AddressWatson Curnow is a Technical Services company requiring the role of an Electrical Maintenance Fitter.
Experience in the industrial and commercial height and safety industries is highly desirable and experience with Personnel Lifts and Material Hoisting and PLCs would be seen as a major advantage.
Watson Curnow primarily contracts for OEM companies in the Wind Renewables and Height Access Sectors requiring the services of Annual and 3rd Party Inspection and maintenance on their assets; Hoists, Lifts, and other height access and safety equipment.
The person we are looking for will need to work autonomously and in a team environment when required, with strong communication skills, be motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic.
Role
Service Technician - Electrical Maintenance Fitter
The Job Role will include the following tasks
- Report to Project Manager undertaking jobs including inspection, servicing, testing, and rebuilding of hoists and other lifting equipment.
- Take charge of the service workshop where hoist servicing and rebuilds will be of primary focus.
- Provide technical support and advice to coworkers and clientele on Wind Farm Sites.
- BMU Maintenance, and Trouble Shooting.
- Provide high-quality service for existing and future clientele.
Required Qualifications
- VIC A-Grade Electrical License
- VIC Drivers License
The successful candidate should have the following skills and attributes
- Excellent diagnostic skills and a high standard of reporting
- Ability to use a digital reporting and asset management system
- Organized, thorough, and quality disposition.
- Practices Safe OH&S procedures
- Sales and customer service experience.
