Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We have an exciting ongoing position available in Alice Springs as an Electrical Planner to join our team, to plan and scope the works program to ensure it is completed in a cost effective and efficient way while maximising customer satisfaction and minimising the impact of any disruption to the network. With knowledge and experience working in an electrical distribution utility environment, with demonstrated experience in electricity distribution, including scoping, design, construction, maintenance and operation of overhead and underground mains and equipment.
You will have an AQF Certificate III in electrical/mechanical fitter, line worker or Cable Jointer.
