You will be working for an international renewable energy organization who are backed by one of the largest investment firms in this space. They have a massive budget to spend, and the Australian market is their top priority right now. This company focuses across all renewable technologies from on and offshore wind, Solar BESS, hydrogen, pumped hydro and more! Based in the Melbourne CBD they are a rapidly expanding team who are looking to take over the Australian market.
Your new role
Based in the Melbourne CBD you will join an experienced Project Engineering team working on onshore development of wind, solar, battery and pumped hydro. This role has a strong involvement in both the technical and commercial aspects of the projects, and you will be seen as the subject matter expert when its comes to all things electrical engineering. You will be required to manage the development and reviewing of concept designs, business case optimisation, complete due diligence activities on new development acquisitions, contract and negotiation and more.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of relevant experience in the renewable energy, particularly wind
Excellent external stakeholder and contract management experience
Project specific experience with Wind Farms in Australia
Project Engineering/Project Management experience
