P.T.Automation Solutions (PTAS) has been established on the Gold Coast since March 2000 manufacturing in our Nerang facility and installing electrical control systems throughout Australia and around the world. Qualifications & experience
- A Queensland electrical license is required for this position and QTP status preferred. (PTAS are willing to train and facilitate a QTP accreditation for the right candidate).
- Previous electrical site supervisor experience in the water industry would be beneficial although not a prerequisite as training will be provided.
- The ability to understand electrical schematics which encompass motor control, instrumentation and PLC systems is a requirement.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor PTAS's talented staff carrying out installation and commissioning of electrical control systems in Water/Wastewater infrastructure networks and plants ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are adhered to.
- Work in collaboration with the PTAS engineering and design team to ensure a quality product is delivered.
- Use your leadership skills to train our future generation of electrical staff.
- Liase with our Teir 1 clients ensuring documentation meets the highest standards for safety, quality and the environment.
