What we are looking for… an industrial electrician to join our teams based out of the Eastern Suburbs. Your day-to-day activities include performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region.
Must Have…
- Electrical Licence
- An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Must be physically fit
- Electricial licence allowances $58.41 per week and various other allowances included.
- Rates per hour $43 – 45
- Afternoon shift is paid at 15% + on-call has an allowance of $682 per week.
- UV equipment
- Cathodic protection
- Chemical dosing equipment experience
- Wastewater and water pumping stations and associated equipment
- Low pressure and vacuum systems
- Mixers, blower, gearboxes, skimmers, actuators and valves
- Generator maintenance servicing, connections during outages
- Wastewater treatment plants
- Accountability to safely conduct role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policies
- Perform planned maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipment
- Responsive maintenance to equipment faults on shift
- Regular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Fault finding and rectification, including reporting and record maintenance
- Installation and testing of new equipment
- General day to day maintenance activities
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of SCADA
- Pump maintenance, electric motors
- Understanding and application of leading policies and procedures
- Instrumentation qualifications will be viewed favourably
- Permanent – fulltime role Mon to Fri on day shift 7am start
- Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime
- 1 week every 8 weeks – afternoon shift 3:30 start, with an ‘on-call' component and weekend roster
