J.A.C. Pump Services is a well established industrial pump supply and repair company operating predominately in the mining and municipal markets.
Working within a dedicated team based out of Tomago, but servicing all of NSW. The successful electronic instrument trades worker candidate will find no two days will be the same.
Attractive hourly rates with considerable overtime when completing installations or services onsite
Successful applicants must have the following essential skills & licenses;
Tertiary Engineering qualification - mandatory
Experience in design, implementation, construction and commissioning of LV and Controls equipment and systems.
Knowledge and exposure to PLC, SCADA, tank inventory/instrumentation and process control network systems.
Minimum 3 yrs trades experience
Valid manual drivers licence
Great communication skills
Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
Physically fit and able to work in challenging environments
Great work attitude and flexibility a must
Ability to problem-solve on the go and adapt to changing work environments
Conversant with configuration of instrumentation and control systems using a variety of communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP
Ability to travel and stay away for work 1-2 weeks per month
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small close knit team
Desirable
Ability to commence as soon as possible
MR drivers license
Experience in the water and wastewater industries
Confined space accreditation
Experience with VFD booster pump fault finding
Job responsibilities include but is not limited to;
- Detailed reporting and log information accurately
- Pump commissioning and testing (happy to train the right candidate)
- Instrumentation calibration
- Fault finding

- Ability to time manage and achieve an economical workload
