The role

We are looking for an Electronic/Instrument Technician to join our service team in Seven Hills, Sydney. The duties will include the following,

• Carry out preventative maintenance of analyser systems
• Carry out corrective maintenance on faulty analysers
• Installation of new analyser systems
• Maintain logbooks for works completed
• Liaise with clients about maintenance requirements

Local and overseas training will be provided as required.

The successful candidates will be required to perform occasional work outside of business hours and travel interstate.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

• Willingness to learn and understand the business and internal processes
• Ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Have excellent organisational skills
• Minimum TAFE qualification in electronic, instrumentation or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment
• Experience with process and analytical instrumentation 
• Experience with Ambient gas analysers and dust monitors
• Excellent computer skills
• Basic understanding of various communications protocol
• Able to work unrestricted in Australia
• Current C class driver's license

• $65,000 - $72,000 + super
