The Role
Full time permanent position based across Sureway’s Leongatha and Wonthaggi offices. Change lives and build stronger communities in our fast paced and dynamic industry.
Use your energy and solution-focused outlook to get people to overcome obstacles and secure employment. Help job seekers with disability to maintain their jobs through goal setting, your relationships with employers, and teamwork in the office. Your computer skills and process-driven approach will enable you to fulfill administrative requirements quickly and accurately.
Alongside job seeker support, enjoy getting out on the road. Facilitate the development of opportunities with employers and create strong ties with community stakeholders. Advocate for our clients and help employers see the advantages of hiring people with disability.
Duties
- Assist clients to set goals for employment including identifying smaller steps along the journey
- Work with employers to help them understand what to expect when hiring someone with disability (e.g. better attendance, great commitment, etc)
- Help clients into work, and support employers and clients to sustain it
- Collaborate with your teammates
- Maintain accurate records
Being new to the employment industry is not a problem. If you have transferable skills, a positive attitude, ability to manage your workload / priorities, experience with a variety of customer relationships and solid administration skills you can succeed with us.
