The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic EMR Solution Architect to join the team at Northern Health.
The purpose of the EMR Solution / Integration Architect is to provide in-depth technical advice on the implementation, use and maintenance of key clinical solutions and applications. The creation and refinement of technically-detailed and timely documentation in the form of strategy, position and options papers are key to the success of this role. You will be responsible for guiding through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance. Working very closely to the Clinical Solutions Manager, you will act as a primary consultant for Cerner Millennium architecture, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer. While also cultivating and sustaining relationships with Program leadership to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement.
As a member of this team, you will resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise. This will include resolving complex concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or solution application, performing test script execution, and creating and participating in integrated testing. Also as an Architect, you are expected to supplement traditional Integration architecture knowledge of Cerner Millennium and work closely with the Technical manager to manage interdependencies on Technical work stream.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in working in Solution / Integration architecture and can provide specialist expertise on Cerner Millennium Solutions
Experience in design, build configuration and troubleshooting Cerner Applications
Experience working in project deployments
A tertiary degree in Computer science or related field (equivalent)
