This is an Australian division of a global company who are known for their strong employee focus and a Leader in their field.
About the role
You will be the main point of contact for end user IT support and problem resolution at our client site for 5 days a week, while also providing remote support on another site. This is a onsite position located at our client site.
Responsibilities
- Manage Incident, Request and Tasks within the client sites, ServiceNow queues. Ensure SLA's and other metrics are met.
- PC/Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, lifecycle replacement, problem diagnosis and resolution
- Support site LAN end-user network connectivity
- Ensure reliable operation of hardware and general site infrastructure
- General IT Troubleshooting and assistance as required on site
- IT Activity Management
- Participation in afterhours / weekend support & deployment activities as occasionally required.
Ideally qualified in an IT related discipline and you will have experience in supporting corporate IT environment technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 10 operating systems, Outlook, Microsoft Office and have a basic understanding of physical and logical networking in a TCP/IP based LAN.
Your attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting coupled with a strong focus on customer service will put you in good stead for this role.
The ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance is critical.
