An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time Graduate Engineer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in the Isaac Region. A career development opportunity has arisen at Isaac Regional Council for a Graduate Engineer based in the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Manager Galilee and Bowen Basin Operations, this position provides specialised engineering support and advice to internal and external customers in the delivery of infrastructure and technical services projects.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated success in the areas of reporting, negotiation, problem solving.
• Proven ability to analyse asset data and prepare reports.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A Blue/White Construction Card.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing.
• A current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.

• $73,197.10 - $78,095.83 per annum plus allowances
• Subsidised Council housing
• Nominally 72.5 hours over a 9-day fortnight.
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading.
• Up to 13% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement.
