About the role
The Engineering Manager | Integration Lead coordinates the engineering solution activities at the related level (solution or solution element). The Project Engineer is focused on the technical management of how the engineering will be delivered.
The purpose of this job is to ensure the delivery of the technical solutions for the project budget, this includes the financial aspects, labour aspects, and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures global consistency of the engineering process, practices and tools, organises the co-engineering lower level solution elements’ or components’ engineering plans including those that flown down.
Identifies the engineering skills needed to ensure Bid / Project / Product delivery.
Develop and maintain the schedule in line with the Work Breakdown Structure for Engineering activities.
Work effectively with Capture Leader to generate win themes that link customer needs with defined benefits of the Thales offering.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of competitive/commercial business principles to arrive at sound business decisions.
How About You?
Qualified engineer, able to meet the requirements of a Chartered Engineers Status.
5 years of engineering experience in coordinating of projects.
Technical experience with Vehicles, defence industry experience desirable.
