Job Description:
Schmidt Aluminium is seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an Engineering Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our engineering team to design and improve Aluminium Fabrication processes.
- Perform detailed technical calculations and analysis to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct quality control checks and inspections to maintain high-quality standards.
- Assist in the development of innovative solutions to enhance product efficiency and performance.
- Work closely with our production team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Aluminium Fabrication techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in Aluminium Fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to use CAD software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work 4-day work weeks and 38 hours per week.
