Then you could be the perfect Enrolled Nurse to join the professionals at Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network. We’re looking for a qualified Enrolled Nurse that is currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) with at least 2 years of enrolled nursing experience. Importantly, if you are an overseas resident with a temporary visa, please apply. This position will be open to you if no suitable Australian permanent resident or citizen is identified.

Here at Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network, the Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients. The EN will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW or Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.

Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with current authority to practice with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written and computer skills
Experience in conducting chronic health care assessments, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to professional development and ongoing education
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network
Current Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel throughout the Cluster Area of work delegation
