Then you could be the perfect Enrolled Nurse to join the professionals at Justice Health NSW. We’re looking for a qualified Enrolled Nurse that is currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) with at least 2 years of enrolled nursing experience. Importantly, if you are an overseas resident with a temporary visa, please apply. This position will be open to you if no suitable Australian permanent resident or citizen is identified.

Here at Justice Health NSW, the Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients. The EN will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW or Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.

Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication and computer skills.
Possess a strong interest and ability to empathise with marginalised populations and a capacity to manage and relate to patients in a non-judgemental and compassionate manner.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
Demonstrates a commitment to self directed learning and development and a knowledge of Practice Development and Quality Improvement principles.
Demonstrated understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity and Work Health Safety legislation.
Experience in conducting health assessments.
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network.
