About the role:
Are you interested in working in a Multidisciplinary team within the alcohol and other drug field? Then this role is for you!
Join our Opioid Treatment team in delivering high quality services to opioid dependent people. The position will contribute to the safe and high quality provision of opioid treatment pharmacotherapies and case management within a therapeutic milieu, in a non- judgmental manner, to opioid dependent persons. It will also provide support to the community, generalist health professionals and general practitioners.

Where you’ll be working:
Opioid Treatment Program office service provision across Parkes, Forbes and Condobolin. It is part of the Orange & Region Hub.
Parkes is a town in the Central West region of New South Wales. It has an estimated population of approximately 11,200 people. Parkes boasts stunning natural beauty: perfect for water sports, bushwalking and birdwatching, with colonial gold rush heritage, a world-class sculpture trail and one of Australia's most memorable music events, the Parkes Elvis Festival.
The neighbouring town of Forbes located 28 kilometers south on the Newell Highway between Parkes and West Wyalong has a population of approximately 8,400 people. Forbes is a picturesque historic town on the banks of the Lachlan River.
Parkes, Forbes and Condobolin are part of the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri people, the largest language group in NSW with a country of more than 120,000 square kilometers.
Both Parkes and Forbes are approximately four and a half hours from the capital and nearby coastlines. Parkes has a regional airport which runs regular flights to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
