We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Analyst at our Perth CBD office, on a 12- Month Maximum term contract.
About this role
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end life cycle of a report development. This involves, but not limited to, requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, business analysis, data model and user interface design, data and business process analysis, user trainings and development of automated reports to ensure stakeholders have confidence in the information at their disposal. You will also provide analytical support through analysis of data from various systems to assist the decision-making needs of stakeholders.
You'll also:
- Interrogate data to provide performance reports and analysis.
- Identify processes, behaviours, training and standards that require higher level review to effect change and improvement.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops to accurately capture stakeholders' needs.
- Generate information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns.
- Create requirements definition documentation and functional specifications; and
- Support a large number of stakeholders from Heads of Functions to Formal Leaders, Area Managers, Team Leaders and individuals.
- Where possible, identify improvement opportunities through automation.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a relevant discipline OR extensive industry practical and demonstrated experience and knowledge in required discipline.
- An experienced professional with at least 4+ years demonstrated experience and knowledge in an analytical role.
- Experience performing analytical and problem-solving activities, including the ability to identify potential issues, business improvement opportunities and compile and present research findings to management. This experience is typically gained through professional / academic qualifications or through extensive industry practical experience.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tool and SQL is essential, any experience with Qlik Sense or other BI tools (e.g., Power BI) will be highly regarded.
- Understanding of ETL framework, databases and reporting/data visualisation tools
- Experience in a similar role for a commercial organisation
- Demonstrable business acumen to a good standard
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage with and influence a variety of internal and external operational stakeholders.
- Experience in Generative AI, machine learning or RPA or decision modelling will be highly regarded.
