We currently have an opportunity for a Manager level Consultant who specialises in Enterprise Solutions Architecture/Domain Architecture. You will be part of a modern business design & architecture practice that is driving transformation of client businesses across public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Your role will include:
Manage workstreams or projects, including sound work plans and budgets, overseeing preparation of project deliverables and managing client relations
Managing project economics to ensure that projects fall within budget and meet financial metrics
Managing and building teams, including performance appraisals, building career development plans, setting clear goals for team members, and providing ongoing coaching
Assisting with recruitment and development of individual staff to build a talented and stable cadre of professional staff
Leading or supporting business development, including identification of new or follow-on opportunities and/or new markets, preparing account and capture plans, and qualifying specific opportunities
Leading preparation of proposals, including project scoping, proposal approach, staffing plan and pricing
Building a sustainable and identifiable business transformation consulting brand and business
Supporting the achievement of our strategy and financial targets through sound project execution, management of non-billable hours, business development, bid and proposal budgets, and management of utilisation
Your fellow FHOtons will rely on you to:
Support the development of modern architecture definitions and designs for complex business challenges and environments, taking into account business strategy, operational imperatives and desired customer and staff experiences.
Work at an enterprise and business domain level to produce comprehensive models of how applications, platforms and technology support the delivery of business services and outcomes Undertake multi-factor assessments to determine the effectiveness and suitability of same to support the organisation to achieve its desired outcomes.
Work with business stakeholders directly and with other consultants to build comprehensive and deep understanding of business strategy and service needs
Devise conceptual and logical architectures that respond to these in a way that optimises outcomes and establish technology solutions and environments that can be sustained and grow to meet future business needs.
What skills & experience you will bring?
Extensive experience in the defining technology strategies and programs that respond to transformational business change
Experience in defining technology architectures and solutions to a level to inform the selection of platforms and products
Sound understanding and experience of technology product & platforms that support modern business enterprises across a range of sectors
It is expected that the successful candidate will have worked in large public or private sector organisations and led the transformation and modernistation of technology services across domains such as: customer services (digital platforms, CRM and Case Management), operational platforms (industry specific such as control systems, asset management), transactional systems (billing and payment management), corporate systems (HRIS, Finance, Procurement)
Support informed technology strategy and investment decisions within large complex organisations.
Experience managing projects of small teams of professionals
Project management skills
Understanding analytics with excellent communication skills
Recognised internally for management or domain expertise in business transformation solutions
Ability to negotiate desired outcomes with customers and stakeholders.
Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with customers, staff, partners, executives and other stakeholders.
