About the Position

Our client is seeking a dynamic planner to join the planning and environment team. This role is dedicated to contributing to a diverse range of strategic, statutory, and environmental planning projects.
  
As a proactive team member, you will play a pivotal role in engaging productively with representatives from Commonwealth, State, and Territory governments, as well as Airport regulators. Your responsibilities will include project management for various planning and environmental projects, ensuring their successful completion. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of comprehensive planning and environmental reports, providing crucial support for strategic and statutory projects and applications.

In this position you will:  

  • Assist the planning, development, and conceptualisation of strategies to drive organisational efficiencies and outcomes.
  • Undertake environmental scanning including conducting research, identifying trends, and analysing opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Undertake project management activities including project planning and documentation, implementation, monitoring and reporting on progress, providing recommendations about managing risk, and identifying and resolving problems.
  • Prepare high-quality written reports, briefs, and other documents for a range of audiences to a high standard.
  • Working collaboratively across government agencies and private sector organisations.
You will be a self-starter and display a level of autonomy in providing support to the Projects, Planning and Environment Management, colleagues and stakeholders. The Planner will understand the position and create opportunities to better the role with fresh ideas and innovative ways of undertaking it.
