Curtin’s School of Nursing is the longest established school of nursing in the Australian university sector. From the time it opened 47 years ago, the school has been a key part of the University’s drive to be a leader in health sciences education and research. The school delivers a range of undergraduate courses in nursing, oral health therapy and paramedicine; and specialist postgraduate courses in areas ranging from diabetes and critical care, to child health and midwifery.
We currently have an opportunity for a registered dentist to join us as a Lecturer. This role will be based at the Oral Health Care of Western Australia (OCHWA) in Nedlands and our Curtin Bentley campus. You might also be involved in mobile dentistry projects. One of our oral health therapy teaching clinics is located at OHCWA. In our dental teaching and learning facility we offer a full range of preventative and restorative oral health therapy services to the Western Australian community.

About Your Role:
This is a casual position with opportunity to work across multiple nursing courses and will play a crucial role in educating and mentoring our students, providing them with real-world experience and expertise. If you are passionate about nursing education and have a desire to share your expertise with the next generation of nurses, we would love to hear from you.
In this role you will:
Delivery of face-to-face tutorials, skills laboratories, and simulation sessions.
Facilitation of students in clinical practice.
Assess and evaluate students work.
Position Requirements:
Relevant qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered.
Current AHPRA registration and relevant industry experience.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in clinical education or marking (desirable).
