About the Role
With long-term projects continuously delivering best value for clients, our holistic approach sees engineers and consultants working together with operational specialists to deliver smart infrastructure from start to finish. We rapidly respond to client needs, delivering services and projects on time, on budget and above all, safely to support, build and maintain well-functioning road networks.
With the office based in Stapylton, QLD the senior leading hand will oversee pavement and drainage building works, manage leading hands, subcontractors, and internal crews. Ensuring all work activities are carried out safely, performance indicators are met including production rates, site management and quality.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• Manage quality assurance and activities, including keeping records in line with ITPs
• Communicating with TMR inspectorial counterparts
• Monitor and analyse time and resource utilisations, ensuring budgets, targets and activities are met
• Monitor performance and re-assessing efficiency and liaising with supervisors on improvements
• Prioritise, plan and schedule work on daily program and activities and liaising with project staff
• Organise and plan work tasks at a two-week lookahead level
Requirements
• Extensive construction experience
• TMR specification knowledge
• Cert 3 in Civil Construction
• Traffic Management Implementation Card Holder
• Team management skills
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
