The Opportunity:
During this exciting growth period we have opportunities for Water Engineers to join our Operations engineering team in Perth to provide engineering services for various water infrastructure projects within the Defence, Mining, Roads, and Energy sectors.
The roles have a wide variety of responsibilities including acting as a liaison with clients to establish secure planning partnerships, offering valuable insights and coordinating designs throughout the entire water cycle and mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
We place a strong emphasis on collaboration, both within our local office and KBR nationally. As such, you will likely work with interstate colleagues to deliver engineering projects.
What you will need to succeed :
Ideal candidates will possess an Engineering degree (Civil or Mechanical or Process Engineering) or solid work experience in hydraulic infrastructure design and project coordination.
You must be registered as a Member of Engineers Australia and willing to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame.
With a strong background in project and design management, you will have demonstrated proficiency in designing bulk water infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs.
Proven experience in water and wastewater hydraulics, treatment systems, sewer network design, and dewatering projects is essential.
You will have experience of engineering software (such as WaterGems/SewerGEMs, EPANET, GIS, PumpBase, Plant3D).
Key to these opportunities is excellent communication, organisational, planning and time management skills. With the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local authorities, external consultants, client representatives, and internal teams.
