Equipment Technician - Commercial Catering Equipment

The Company  
Our client is a commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning servicing and maintenance company in Darwin. They are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join their team in Darwin.

The Position
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Equipment Technician to join our client's team in Darwin. This role will be for the company's customers in the hospitality industry (commercial kitchens, pubs, cafes, restaurants etc.)

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, i.e. dishwashers, glass washers, electrical combi ovens, fryers, ice cream machines, ice machines, bakery equipment, etc.

The Candidate 
The successful applicant will have:

• Self-starter with a high level of diagnostic/fault finding skills
• Excellent time management and a high level of multi-tasking and organisational skills
• Display the utmost professionalism when dealing with clients
• Impeccable communication & listening skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of quality service to longstanding, valued clients

Essential Attributes:

• Current Electrical License (Minimum of an NT Restricted Electrical Licence)
• Current manual Driver's Licence
• Have (or ability to obtain) a Current Police Check
• Have (or ability to obtain) an NT Working with Children Clearance
• Experience working on Commercial Catering Equipment - 2 years minimum
