As a Web/Application Developer you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure back-end solutions using python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, within an Odoo ERP environment.
Outcomes
Ensure projects are completed within established deadlines by effectively managing tasks and prioritizing workload.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards to deliver high-quality solutions.
Develop Odoo Web Applications and modules that meet client requirements and enhance user experience.
Stay updated on Odoo framework updates and web development technologies to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and address feedback promptly.
Conduct thorough testing of Odoo applications to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
Role Description:
- Designing, developing, and customizing Web Applications and modules using the Odoo framework to meet client specifications.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python and other web technologies.
- Integrating new features and functionalities into existing Odoo applications, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging of Odoo applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and end-users as needed.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and methodologies.
- Documenting technical specifications, system configurations, and development procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Any job tasks or projects as requested by IT Manager
Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Web/Application Developer with a focus on Odoo development. (Sharepoint, Sin7, Netsuite, MS Dynamics)
- Ability to integrate Odoo with external applications with batch, realtime and API technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certification in Odoo development (optional but preferred).
