The Firm
A premium mid-sized boutique firm based in Parramatta that continues to grow despite COVID-19. Its practice areas range from Commercial/Corporate Law to Family Law.
The firm's clients range from individual business owners to SME's as such it will be imperative for the ideal applicant to possess an inherent business acumen.
The team is currently constituted by 12 lawyers with a total staff of 16. The team is highly collegiate and collaborative, as such, the ideal applicant will possess a personality and values that mesh well with the existing work culture.
The firm is progressive and open to flexible work arrangements. It is extremely well-managed and unlike many firms, has a clear vision as to the firm it intends to become in the medium and long-term.
The Role
The role is for an experienced Estates and Property Lawyer, who is experienced working across:
complex and bespoke drafting of wills, with testamentary and family trusts, SMSFs, business succession,
contested wills and estates,
acquisitions and disposals of residential property, including OTP
The successful applicant will have intimate knowledge and experience working with PEXA and completing all digital processes necessary during the conveyancing procedure, including but not limited to VOI. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be accustomed to working in a boutique firm or in a small team and will therefore be hands-on with their caseload and be able to move with agility.

Salary expectation $110,000 - $130,000 plus super, subject to experience as assessed by the firm

Essential Requirements
4 - 6 years PAE in Estates and Property Law, accrued in reputable Sydney-based boutique firms or in dedicated small teams in reputable Sydney-based firms
Excellent interpersonal skills
Professional presentation: excellent plain English communication skills and demonstrated success with client liaison
