About the opportunity:Based in Adelaide, SA and reporting to the Estimating Team Leader, you'll efficiently provide new business product quoting by maintaining workflows and accurately entering relevant data into Detmold internal systems.In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:
- Start with simple product costing, then advance to more complex items and tendering over time.
- Provide customer service on estimating systems and new business quotes to internal stakeholders.
- Support the design team in developing packaging concepts for internal and customer projects.
- Improve visibility in areas with consistent data quality issues.
- Provide reports on improvement initiatives to sales teams and Group managers.
- Perform administration tasks and project work associated with the Estimating Department
About you:To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Estimation, planning or administration experience within a manufacturing environment
- The ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong data entry and data management experience
- Proficiency with quoting systems and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
