Job description
Reporting to the Head of Client Solutions the Estimator & Commercial Lead will play an integral part in the Client Solutions team supporting the wider BGIS business.
Using a flexible and adaptable approach the responsibilities include:
Maintaining and improving the Centre of Excellence for Pricing and Estimating for IFM line of business.
Managing positive stakeholder relationships including the business, internal functional and operational teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients in relation to all aspects of leads/bids/tenders/negotiated opportunities.
Managing the pricing process and providing commercial recommendations.
Managing the Pricing Analyst and work as a team to determine a best for bid offer.
Contributing to the development and enhancement of BGIS current bid management and business capability as a platform for growth.
WHS & E policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
Strong demonstrated experience in services procurement, business development, facilities management, asset management, property management or project management.
Demonstrated experience in construction or maintenance estimating, or property valuation/ economics.
Experience in Bid Management.
Experience working on tenders in the Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors
Experience with asset lifecycle analysis.
Proven ability in working within an integrated services and property model delivering a Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management and Financial Management Services.
Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.
Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, Tableau, Power BI or other data management tools
Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting or Finance
Desirable
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Building Services Engineering, Construction/ Project Management or Land Economics.
Tertiary qualification in Facilities, Asset or Property Management.
