Our client is a Maitland based manufacturing business specializing in heavy fabrication for the mining and construction industries. This business has a long and successful history but new owners are setting the company for future business success. They are investing heavily in people and infrastructure to develop a winning culture and are creating an atmosphere that will foster success.
Working alongside the design and fabrication teams, this role will see you work predominantly independently to develop and build business relationships and win new project work your role will include supporting with estimating projects costings, preparing bids and tenders and project management of the relationships.
About the role:
Use existing relationships and networks to build business
Use interpersonal skills to build and develop existing relationships
Map and follow infrastructure projects
Use market data and project mapping to win work
Assist with tender writing and client submissions
Assist with project estimation and costing
About you:
Have experience using online tender and project lead portals
Have existing interpersonal and sales skills
Be an effective communicator and listener
Ideally have previously worked in heavy industry
Have experience in the tender writing and submission process
Have project costing and estimating experience
