Your new role
This role is responsible for the planning and development of the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data for the company Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing program. You will also be responsible for some of the analysis which underpins the conversion of business requirements to a functional data model for reporting and analytics.
Design and build WhereScape Red ETL workflows applying ethical and robust techniques in the transformation of data, in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Translate functional business requirements into supportable, maintainable ETL plans by investigating operational needs and problems, and opportunities
Design, develop and prototype appropriate physical database or data warehouse design elements
Support all team members with database and technical solutions to meet their task goals
What you'll need to succeed
A degree, preferably in computing or information systems discipline
Significant experience with dimensionally modelled Data Warehouse environments
Significant experience with ETL or the building of system and data integration using data integration tools.
A demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively to technical and business analysts and to effectively interpret the requirements of business analysts.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet competing deadlines.
