Coordinate and support permit applications (related to film & photography, community, and client requests) which require interface with Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) network/infrastructure/operations.
Helping to ensure these requests fully comply with applicable MTM process and procedures (including safety and environmental requirements), as well as mitigate against/cause minimal disruption and impact to MTM. Helping to continually improve the process and procedures in place. Supporting the delivery of MTM events external and internally, working with a dedicated in-house team and external contractors.
This is a 12-month Max term role based out of Metro Trains Head office, Docklands.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate external permit applications to ensure these are conducted in a safe manner, in line with appropriate processes.
Conduct initial assessment of requests and action accordingly to respective internal stakeholders and teams to assist with gaining MTM approvals. Liaise with clients (and at times contractors) to obtain required information to process applications.
Liaise with wider MTM business units to seek input and feedback to process applications.
Develop and implement monthly reporting, identify opportunities for continual improvement of the process and procedures promote, contribute and take active involvement in division initiatives.
Provide support, in collaboration with the team in the delivery and planning of MTM Corporate Events in other functions as directed.
Qualifications & Experience
Completion of Year 12 VCE or equivalent
Familiarity with management information systems andcomputer-basedsystems
Familiarity in the preparation and collation information
