Short-term Contract Position
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Coordinator join our team on a contract basis. Reporting to the Events & Reservations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the planning, implementation, and project management of client events and reservations. This is a contract position however longer term employment may be available within the group.
You will have a talent for customer service with an engaging phone manner and a problem-solving mindset. As you will often be the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in our total “guest experience”.
This role will have a strong relationship with the venue General Manager and Venue Managers.
This role will service reservations and enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively following through with all leads to ensure that conversion occur in timely manner.
Occasionally conduct site inspections with potential clients, being able to clearly articulate spaces, offerings and any other venue essential information.
Being in venue point of contact for events and available on date of event to greet and handover to the front of house team.
Ensure customers' enquiries and bookings are answered quickly and efficiently.
Timely prepare all runsheets with clear and detailed information.
Provide a thorough brief to the venue manager on the day of the event.
Processing all payments for function deposits, event prepayments.
Ensure that all events and functions patrons are followed up for feedback surrounding their event/function.
Ensuring venue events calendar is maintained, with all relevant events clearly outlined.
Organising and overseeing all casual venue bookings, ensuring that all managers are aware of requirements for each function.
Working closely with all department heads to communicate and deliver on guest experience.
Drive creative ideas and solutions for guests and clients.
Budget out events, and prepare pre and post event reports.
Drive business development and cross promotional selling of our assets.
As part of the event and reservations team, part of this role involves answering day to day calls and making general restaurant and bar bookings.
