CHRISTMAS INSTALLATION CREW CASUAL

Dovecote Design supplies Commercial Christmas Decorations to the Premium end of the market.

Our Clients are major Shopping Centre, Corporate Buildings and Local Council located in Melbourne CBD, Suburbs and Surrounding areas.

We require Casual Installation Crew Members to assist our Senior Crew Members with the Bump in and Bump out of Christmas Decorations.

All work is undertaken after hours most commencing from 5.30pm and each shift is around 6 to 8 hours.

The work is undertaken on week nights and weekends, and our meeting point is at the site each night.

When we need you:

Our Season starts on the 28th October through to 30th November for Bump in.

Our Bump out starts on the 24th December maximum 5 hours at Double Time.

Boxing Day Onwards through to the 30th December.

Then again from the 2nd January through to 12th January

( Public Holidays are paid at Double Time, we do not work New Years Eve or New Years Day )

Crew that can commit to Both Bump in and Bump out will be given priority over those that cant, this also applies to Crew that can commit to all Bump in dates.

The roles require but not limited to:

• Loading & unloading Decoration at both our Warehouse and Onsite
• Moving Decoration in the Site and Assisting Trades
• Use of Power Tools as required
• You must hold a current Drivers License and have your own vehicle
• EWP, Forklift or HR Licences are favorable and attract a higher pay rate but are not mandatory.

Our Offer:

• A pay rate depending on skill between $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
• A paid Meal Break
• Uniforms and PPE
• Paid Company Induction and Training Morning mid October.

About You:

• You must be physically Fit
• Be able to supply references
• If driving Company vehicles must have a clean licence to do so
• Be punctual
• Able to complete online inductions as requested
• Have a can do attitude
• Most importantly be a Team Player and be safety Conscious

Salary: $32.50 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Rotating roster
• Weekend availability
