Form of workReporting directly to the General Manager Operations, the Event Manager will maintain a close working relationship with other members of the Operations team, as well as members of the Sales, Content and Digital Publishing teams. This is a hands-on role to deliver quality events, conferences and award programs for a professional audience. Event delivery is varied in content and duration and may be face-to-face, virtual or hybrid in format.

- Experience in event and/or conference delivery.
- Experience in sponsor/partner management and retention.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Care and attention to detail.
- The ability to think strategically, and handle pressure and ambiguity.
- The ability to work to budget and deadline.
- Polished presentation.
- Strong people skills.
- Friendly confident manner.
- A team-focused approach.
Experience
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with hybrid event management systems such as EventsAir would be highly regarded.
- Experience in partner acquisition/retention would be highly regarded.
You must also be an Australian resident or have an appropriate working Visa.
