The opportunity
In this role, you work closely with the Events Manager and the team to support the development, implementation, and delivery of events campaigns across QBE. you will help coordinate, drive an array of virtual and physical events from start to finish, giving you ample of opportunity to showcase your event management skills.
Other responsibilities:
Every event is important, this involves preparing and delivering creative briefs to respective agencies, focus on implementation to ensure effective coordination of planning, execution, and communication of all events
Support annual events calendar, and ensure it is effectively communicated to all internal stakeholders
Ensuring events are professionally run and managed and keep abreast of latest developments/best practices in event management to maximise benefits for QBE.
Evaluate and measuring the success of events implementation and roll out providing detailed and high-quality reports to stakeholders
Assist in the implementation of new practices and programs to meet organisational needs
Ensure QBE brand guidelines and compliance requirements are met across all communications
Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
Maintain effective communication across the business on the status of all work in progress events
Work with variety of key stakeholders to deliver the desired outcome.
Your story so far
You will have strong experience in event coordination and implementation, ability to multitask over multiple events. You are team player who will become part of a larger team bringing in new ideas, collaborating with a focus on team first ethos. Carry out events with passion and dedication and exemplary stakeholder and project management skills.
Other skills include:
At least 2yrs + in an events related role
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and time management
Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and part of a team to achieve set goal
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint & project)
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with tight time frames
