About the role
As the Events Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Sales and Events Manager, and responsible for liaising with reputable, blue-chip and corporate clientele, coordinating 5-star conferences and events for anywhere from 4 to 400 guests.
Duties
First point of contact for high-level clients
Managing passes and assisting and attending to visitors' enquire
Strong written and verbal correspondence on behalf of the company
Coordinator the volunteer rosters
Building relationships with corporate businesses
liaising with customers for space hire
Skills & Experience
Must have coordinating experience
A friendly, approachable, professional with the highest of standards, always willing to go the extra mile
Demonstrated & proven experience in successful ongoing client relations in an event capacity
Ability to work collaboratively with department heads and operations management
F & B operations experience & a passion for Hospitality an advantage
Proficiency in functions software (EMS reservations system or equivalent)
