An integral position within a dynamic Andrew McConnell Trader House venue, your care for guest services, event coordination, reservations strategy and administrative prowess will aid in the continued success of Cutler & Co., and Marion.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Events & Reservations Coordinator to join our team and share in the passion of working across two thriving and diverse venues. Located on Fitzroy’s Gertrude Street, close to public transport and within easy walk of the city, Cutler & Co. and Marion are part of Melbourne’s much-loved Trader House group.

Trader House is a collective of restaurants, speciality retail stores and tailored events by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell and photographer Jo McGann. They are Gimlet at Cavendish House (currently ranked #84 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants), Cutler & Co, Marion, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Builders Arms Hotel, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher, Morning Market and Handmade Parties & Events.

Play a pivotal role in the day-to-day co-ordination and running of events, while providing crucial support to the reservations and administration of a two-hat restaurant, and a one hat wine bar.

You’ll be bringing:
Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective professional relationships with clients, guests, and co-workers.
A high level of attention to detail combined with a passion to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.
Exceptional ability with events logistics, reservation strategy and time management.
Technical expertise with events management software well regarded.
Experience working within a restaurant office environment in both events and reservations in a similar role will be viewed favourably.
