Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a self-motivated and diligent Executive Assistant to join the Corporate Services team.
Permanent full time – 35 hours per week
Location- Moree
Attractive Salary range $61,510 to $67,308 (PLUS superannuation) depending on qualifications and experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Executive Assistant (Corporate Services) will be required to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organisation by providing a link between members of the Executive Management Team and staff, releasing the Executive Management Team members from administrative tasks, progressing issues as far as possible and ensuring speedy response times.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
Certificate IV in Business Administration / Frontline Management or equivalent.
Relevant work experience in providing administration support including preparation of correspondence and reports, customer service and record keeping procedures.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to exercise judgement and clarity in prioritising issues.
Ability to be flexible to attend meetings outside normal office hours, as required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with conflict resolution along with excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to relate to people at all levels.
Demonstrated competence in internal and external customer service focus, including provision of requested information and follow through on requests.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Powerpoint packages.
Demonstrated numeracy, written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence; NSW Construction Industry General WHS Induction.
Applicants who do not hold the Certificate IV qualification, however have extensive relevant experience are still encouraged to apply, however must commit to gaining the qualification upon commencement.
